4.10 The Master of the Rosenborg Biblicals Scenes
Eight paintings in the Winter Room are by the so-called Master of Rosenborg Biblical Scenes, another anonymous artist who can be distinguished from the other painters represented. His name indicates that his landscapes, which at first glance may look similar to the Master of the Rosenborg Hunting Scenes, are different in handling and motifs. Often we find images from the Old or New Testament such as Tobit and the Angel or Christ on the Road to Emmaus.
